Vortex Fire served as the building code consultant for Nadège Patisserie’s 2,000 sq. ft. commercial space at Yorkdale Shopping Centre and for its new production facility in Toronto. Services included the review of both areas for compliance with the Ontario Building Code.
This brand new, state of the art events and convention centre is the hub of performing arts and world-class entertainment in the Whitsunday Region. Vortex Fire was the principle fire safety engineers involved with the project to rebirth the Proserpine Entertainment Centre. Through fire safety engineering analysis, Vortex Fire provided a performance based solution for the buildings smoke hazard management, occupant evacuation and fire safety systems throughout the building. Vortex Fire were a substantial member of the design team working with the local council, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Cox Architects as well as the construction team.
