OUR IMPACT
Vortex Fire delivered site supervision services for the transformation of the retail and F&B facility at La Mer South Beach. The project’s vision was to reposition the destination with a distinctive, alcohol-licensed F&B zone spanning the full South Beach precinct, alongside the integration of three new Beach Club facilities within the existing retail fabric.
Vortex Fire’s scope centered on rigorous passive fire protection inspections throughout the works, ensuring fire-rated compartmentation, penetration seals, and life-safety systems met design intent and regulatory compliance across a live, multi-phase retail and hospitality environment. This oversight was critical to safeguarding the integrity of the building’s fire strategy as new licensed F&B and beach club components were woven into the existing structure.
