We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fire Life Safety (FLS) Consultant & Inspector to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate who is enthusiastic about fire safety and looking to build a rewarding career. The position offers significant growth opportunities and requires a motivated individual who is ready to learn and travel across Saudi Arabia to various project sites.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate in an initial intensive and comprehensive training programme in the UAE, designed to provide a strong foundation in fire safety principles and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
- Conduct fire safety inspections on various buildings and facilities across Saudi Arabia, ensuring compliance with local fire safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing Fire Life Safety (FLS) strategies, evacuation procedures, and fire protection systems.
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory authorities, and project teams to address fire safety concerns and recommendations.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
- Provide fire safety advice and guidance to clients, helping them to enhance their safety standards.
- Stay updated on local fire safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Travel throughout Saudi Arabia, sometimes at short notice, to various locations as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers as a professional engineer.
- Previous experience in fire safety or knowledge of the Saudi Building Code is beneficial but not mandatory (on-the-job training will be provided).
- Must be a Saudi national.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
- Strong passion for fire safety and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to travel frequently and spend time in different locations across Saudi Arabia.
