We are looking for an accomplished and visionary Director Fire Engineer to lead and expand our UK office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire engineering, with a proven track record of building and managing teams. As a Chartered Fire Engineer with at least 15 years of experience, you will leverage your extensive client network and expertise to grow our presence in the UK, supported by our international offices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the UK office, aligning with the company’s global vision and objectives.
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of fire engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the UK office, including business development and client acquisition.
- Oversee the design and implementation of fire safety systems and solutions for complex projects.
- Ensure all projects comply with UK fire safety regulations and standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional associations to enhance our brand and network.
- Collaborate with international offices to share knowledge, resources, and best practices.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and business development plans to senior management.
Requirements
- Chartered Fire Engineer status.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in fire engineering, with at least 10 years working in the UK.
- Proven experience in leading and growing a team of fire engineers.
- Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
