    We are seeking experienced Senior Fire Engineers/Building Code Consultant to lead and manage complex projects. You will be responsible for providing expert advice, developing fire safety strategies, and mentoring junior engineers.


    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Ability to work independently and oversee other team members
    • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code or National Building Codes
    • Proficient in plan review, building code audits, alternative solutions, and preparation of reports
    • Have advanced computing skills in MS Office applications
    • Undertake code compliance review of projects and developing compliance reports
    • Work with other consultants to meet project deliverables
    • Liaison with design team, clients, and authorities
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fire Engineer/Building Code Consultant to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, providing fire engineering and building code consultancy services. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in fire engineering or a related field, with a passion for fire safety and engineering.


    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Conduct building code reviews for various building types
    • Provide consultancy on building codes, fire regulations, and safety standards, with a particular focus on the Ontario or National Building Code of Canada
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate fire safety solutions into design plans
    • Prepare and review fire safety plans, reports, and documentation
    • Conduct fire modeling and risk assessments using advanced simulation tools
    • Stay updated with current fire safety engineering practices, codes, and regulations
    Requirements
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or equivalent
    • New graduates are encouraged to apply, some experience in fire protection engineering or building code consulting is an asset
    • Strong understanding of building codes, fire safety standards, and fire protection systems, especially knowledge of the Ontario or National Building Code of Canada
