ABOUT Heather Austin
Heather has over 10 years experience specializing in fire protection engineering technology, building code and fire code consulting. Having worked on projects across Canada, her experience ranges from building reviews and building condition assessments to code interpretation for alternative solutions. Heather provides building and fire code consulting services from assessments of existing conditions to preliminary design stages through to completed construction. Services include reviewing and developing building and fire approaches to prescriptive code requirements or determining alternative measures to meet the intent of the code and assessing and identifying key code aspects within preliminary designs and proposed renovations to improve life safety within a floor space.
