ABOUT Nicole Lowey
Nicole brings over 18 years' experience in the public and private sectors specializing in Building and Fire Code interpretation and application, enforcement, and development procedures for all types of projects. Over the past 5 years, Nicole has provided building and fire code consulting services with a focus on fire and life safety and accessibility, as well as third-party services acting as Authority Having Jurisdiction for Airport Authorities and Municipalities in Ontario and British Columbia. Nicole has worked as a municipal Building Official throughout Canada gaining experience in both National and Provincial Codes, including the most recent position as the Chief Building Official for the Municipality of South Dundas overseeing the Planning, Building, and By-law Enforcement Departments. Prior to her tenure in the municipal world, Nicole worked as an Architectural Technologies on a wide range of projects.
