OUR IMPACT
Level Up works will commence February 2022 with anticipated completion July 2023. The development will create a new retail level above our current North Mall (Woolworths & Kmart) building a whole new experience for our Canberra and Gungahlin community to flourish.
This significant expansion and investment into one of Australia’s fasting growing regions will further strengthen Marketplace Gungahlin. Level Up responds to community demand, provides a broader retail offering, improves the amenity of the Centre and will contribute to the growth of the local economy through both short and long term job creation.
Level Up will be anchored by Aldi, Daily Asian Supermarket, Indian Grocer, and the largest format Chemist Warehouse within the ACT. Additionally, an array of specialty retailers.
Level Up will include a pedestrian bridge over Hibberson Street, providing connectivity between the new North Mall on Level 1 & South Mall (BIG W) truly elevating Marketplace Gungahlin to a new level. The inclusion of a large indoor children’s playground will further curate a foundation for connectivity between family, friends, and our broader community as a destination to sit back, relax and enjoy time together. Encompassed by natural light, you will be welcomed by a sense of the outdoors, indoors without impact from external weathering.

Marketplace Gungahlin is a convenient sub regional shopping centre located in the heart of the developing Gungahlin Town Centre, one of the fastest growing residential areas in the ACT.
