Netsanet is an experienced fire code and building code consultant with a strong background in various sectors including industrial, residential, institutional, commercial buildings, as well as transport infrastructure like rail and road tunnels and stations.
He has provided a range of solutions such as building plan reviews, alternative solutions provision, fire safety plans, emergency action plans, and fire risk assessments. Netsanet is also adept at fire modelling, fire protection system design and delivering training on fire risk assessment, fire prevention plans, fire protection systems. His project experience spans across Ontario, Belgium, and Ethiopia. Netsanet holds an MSc. in Fire Safety Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK; MSc in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia
