Vortex Fire (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) are accredited by International Accreditation Service (IAS) to undertake independent third-party inspections of passive fire protection systems and façade assemblies in accordance with:

ISO 17020:2012 Conformity Assessment – Requirements for the Operation of Various Types of Bodies Performing Inspection

Getting accredited involves an assessment of our inspection procedures, the competence of our inspection staff, and our reporting procedures. Vortex Fire (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) have demonstrated competence to perform special inspections required as per the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice, International Building Code (IBC), Abu Dhabi International Building Code (ADIBC), Saudi Building Code (SBC) and NFPA 5000 Building Construction and Safety Code.

The ISO 17020: 2012 accreditation is a mandatory requirement as per the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice for the House of Expertise or any consultant or engineer undertaking an independent third-party inspection of fire systems.
